what is good and evil?

First of all i'd like to say something, my Christian views have swayed this essays thoughts, if you don't like it? Tough your reading this, at least enjoy it. Anyways, what is good and evil, a concept of morality? Many people feel that the conscience justifies what's good and evil, others believe in the law, and many people believe in a higher power determines the moral situation in this game I like to call insistence. but what ever you decide that determines good and evil, understand that life in it self is probably the only good anyone will ever comprehend, "the mind is a place of its own, and in said place, it can make a heaven of hell and a hell of heaven" john Milton, this quote describes perfectly on how people treat life, and how they live it, just think about it.... ok so ive stated that life is good, but not the only good thing, now onto my point, Good, the right thing, if you think about it, it all started with God, he decided what's good and bad, but just then in there, that idea itself spawned evil, a good moral thing spawned evil, doesn't make cense but it happened. So does that mean every single good thing you decide to do with probably most likely be the reaction an evil though or action? Probably... =/ but that's life and life only and remember what we talked about life = good, and only you in your mind set can make life = bad, ..:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Then I thought to myself "bad events spawn good events"? Yes, they do, look at the holocaust, (OMG I SAID HOLOCAUST) bad things happened, friggan genocide, but if that didn't happen, the Jews wouldn't be as united and as strong as they are today. events like WW2 and pearl harbor and the bombing Hiroshima, and 9/11, events like that bring people together to look at life and its goods and evils and kind of take a step back and say "whoa" life and life only, and remember life = good.
all I'm trying to say is that good spawns evil and evil spawns good, the basic "yin and yang" balance of good and evil, if you look at the standard and compare it to man, there is no bad and no good, only life and life = good

i mean these people wanted peace, and believe me, I'll be the first to admit that peace is impossible until we all figure out who is god.
I mean if anyone is offended by my thoughts, look at the world today, besides religion beliefs, do you know an ultimate good and an ultimate evil that has not been measured and balanced by the other? if you do then please tell me ...
